Environmental Sculpture can best be described as works inspired by nature or works which blend harmoniously into a natural environment.

Imminent Flight

The life forms which come to mind upon first seeing this sculpture are the Stingray and the prehistoric Pterodactyl. Both are very ancient and basic in the feeling which they transmit to human beings. The design suggests flight, but it is flight in the elements of both air and water.

The essence of the two forms and of their spirit are captured by the minimalist simplicity of line, texture and color.
