PART I MEGA GARAGE This film shows the history of the Garage/Studio in rural West Virginia utilized by David John Mega since childhood. The story is told through photographs and interviews with people involved with the vehicles and art produced in the Mega Garage through the decades. It concludes with the sculptural construction and painting of a motorcycle along with the visual art and music inspired by its' creation. |
PART II BACK IN '59 A journey across America in a yellow 1959 Cadillac set to music of that era. |
PART III THE JETS'EM CRUISER Alien minds control the Appalachian mechanics that frequent the Mega Garage. Under the direction of Super Sonic Sherry the genetically engineered crew build from a rusted hulk, the vehicle that will change the mode of transport on the surface of Planet Earth. When construction is complete Elvis Einstein briefly joins Super Sonic Sherry Mega-Jets'em to impart cosmic wisdom to humankind before they journey into Space. |
